Vietnam, with a coastline of 3,260km, is located on the eastern margin of the Indochinese peninsula. It has been seen massive and rapid developments in Vietnam in the last 20 years. However, the country still keeps within its unique, charming traditions and culture which make it such an appealing travel destination.  History has left its mark on Vietnam by way of Chinese, French and American influence.
Vietnam is usually divided into three main areas, the North, the Centre and the South.

Northern Vietnam is famous for its overwhelming landscapes with soaring mountains, forested limestone karsts and ladder rice terraces.  Hanoi, the capital city, is like the travel hub in the north. This thousand year city attracts travellers by its own charms, a fusion of Asian and European style, wide Parisian boulevards and colorful Chinese temples. The mythical seascape of Halong Bay is also a must-to-visit. You will feel lost while cruising among thousands of limestone pinnacles rising dramatically from the sea.   Historical sights and beautiful long white sandy beaches are what the Central Vietnam offers. Hue, the old imperial capital, is home to the Citadel, Royal Tombs and the famed Perfume River.

Hoi An, the UNESCO Heritage site, appeals travellers with its ancient town which is uniquely well-preserved. The streets in town are lined with old shop houses, Chinese temples, chic bars and fashionable restaurants. Luxurious resorts and hotels with private beaches make Danang a top choice for beach vacations. Danang is also a young thriving city with many interesting sights to visit, including fire-breathing Dragon bridge or Cham Muesum, Ngu Hanh Son... My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a great sample of the ancient Champa civilization located about 55km from Danang city. This impressive Hindu-themed ruins feature many beautiful stone sculptures, temples and towers in tropical jungle surroundings.

The Mekong Delta boasts the lush gardens and sweeping rice fields. To delve into the local life, you just wear a traditional conical hat and rowing the bamboo boat along small, green canals to visit local garden houses. Here, you can meet friendly villagers, try fresh tropical fruits or make coconut candies. Mekong Delta is also famous for its floating markets where locals standing on traditional boats with dragons’ eyes sell/buy vegetables, fruits, flowers, and other food.  Ho Chi Minh City’s wartime past is displayed at the Cu Chi Tunnels and War Remnants Museum but this vast metropolis is also full of modern bars, shops and restaurants.
